Welcome to the Ethiopian Development Fund!

Out of concern for the over all situation in Ethiopia, we thought it is about time Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia did something practical to bring about a positive change in the developmental process of the country. There are so many things that can be accomplished. So many fields of interest that can improve the living standards of the impoverished but proud people. With a protracted and united effort of those interested in contributing to the introduction of technology and much needed capital in the many aspects of life in the country, the sky is the limit. To do this, there needs to be a way to gather people who otherwise have the same dreams but always far apart from each other either geographically or because of varying engagements in their lifestyles.

As you might have guessed so far, this is where this web site comes in. The motive behind our effort is to use this site as a communication tool before we do any thing. We trust that many keen individuals will show interest in this sacred project. We hope things will accelerate once we get a good number of individuals that can make a difference. Our first task here should be to validate our membership and active participation to make this good-will mission happen.
