Author: Mekonnen Habtegiorgis Mekonnen Habtegiorgis, the author of "Tamera Menfes", is a 28-year old (as of 2003) Ethiopian writer. Over the years, he has written several short stories that have been broadcast over Ethiopian radio. Mekonnen has a diploma from Addis Ababa Commercial College and two degrees from Houston Community College and University of Texas-Houston. Mekonnen is currently working on his psychology-premed degree at the University of Houston. His next book will be Hulet Haya Hulet.
