Author: Nega Mezlekia Nega Mezlekia left Ethiopia in 1983 with little more than the clothes he was wearing. A professional engineer with degrees from Addis Ababa University, University of Wageningen, the Netherlands, University of Waterloo and McGill University, he now lives in Toronto, where he is working on a novel.
