RESTAURANTS |
Ethiopian food is one of the most unique in the world; most would agree that the look, feel and taste is quite different from other types of foods served around the world. The constant is a soft, flat bread known as Injera. It is made out of teff, a grain harvested only in Ethiopia. Injera is served with various meat and vegetarian sauces. The beverages are tella (beer), tej (mead) and arekie (liquor). We invite you to try this unique food at any of the restaurants listed below; restaurants (outside of Ethiopia!) are listed by geography. Note: Several restaurants share the same name - the popular ones being the "Blue Nile", "Red Sea", "Addis Ababa" and "Queen Sheba" - but they are not part of a chain. |
