EPANA - Goals and Objectives

GOALS

1999-2000 OFFICERS

The goal of the EPANA is to create a professional forum to enable Ethiopian pharmacists who live in the United States to:

Collaborate, form a network, and cultivate and enrich communication among themselves;
Create opportunities to maintain a high level of ethical and professional standards in their professional practice through meetings, workshops, continuing education, and seminars;
Have access to participate in assisting the health professionals in Ethiopia and to help improve the practice of pharmacy and pharmacy education in Ethiopia;
Provide a means to promote pharmacy education among Ethiopian students in the US and assist foreign pharmacy graduates or pharmacy students to achieve their professional goals;
Establish close relationships with the Ethiopian Scientific Society and other Ethiopian professional health associations in the U.S. that pursue similar aims.
Establish and strength the links with other national and local pharmacy associations in the US.
